From the founders of AGA
You are warmly invited to discover AGA — a new gallery in Fonte Santa, Vilamoura.
It is a small space built around a quiet conviction: that the most interesting things happen when painting meets sound, movement, and the slow unfolding of a live creation. Where contemporary work stands in conversation with classical tradition, and the artists are present in the room with you.
Throughout the evening, a watercolour artist will move through the gallery, capturing impressions of guests in a few expressive brushstrokes — colour, silhouette, gesture. No posing required. A small number of these personal works will be available to take home.
An evening to step slowly into. To listen, look, and be looked at — by brush, by colour, by the room itself.
Two practices, one evening
The preview brings together two distinct painters — one working in layered abstraction, one in the patient tradition of botanical watercolour — and invites a quiet conversation between them.

Pauline's work moves through fields of colour that seem to hold weather and memory at once — surfaces built slowly, then broken open. Meet her in person during the evening; she will be present throughout.

Working in a tradition that reaches back through centuries of botanical observation, Ekaterina Sava paints flowers as though they are being looked at properly for the first time. Delicate, exact, and quietly alive.

How the evening unfolds
Live impression
A watercolour artist moves through the gallery, capturing guests in colour, silhouette, and gesture. No posing. A limited number of these personal works can be taken home.
Sparkling wine & canapés
Glass in hand, the room settles. A chance to meet Pauline, to look at the work properly, and to let the conversation begin at its own pace.
The dialogue between the works
Discover the connections between oil and acrylic abstraction and floral watercolours — two practices that, on the surface, have nothing in common, and underneath, almost everything.
Original works for purchase
Original artworks will be available throughout the evening, with prices in the range of approximately €1,000–€2,500.
Your host
Founder of Algarve Arts Academy, Julia will guide you through the connections between the works on view — the threads that run from one painter's hand to the other's.

AGA sits in Fonte Santa, a quiet pocket of the Algarve where the light is particular and the evenings arrive slowly. Easy to reach, worth the journey.
