A relaxing and hands-on ceramics class for teens and adults, inspired by the textures and rhythms of the sea and algarvian motives.
In this session, participants learn the fundamentals of pottery and advanced techniques using both hand-building and the clay wheel, craft, paint and glaze tiles in azulejo traditional technique, guided by a skilled ceramic artist. They’ll dive into modeling, cosplaying, and experience the daily creative routines of animation and game development studios.
By the end of this course, students will have learned the fundamentals of color theory, line art, light and shadow, perspective, and composition. They will also gain an appreciation for the greatest artists from all centuries, exploring the evolution of art through history and how it influences modern creativity.
